The Perfect Witness by Iris Johansen – Book Review

Teresa can read memories of other people. Her father,a mob boss, uses this git to advance his cruel intentions. When her father dies and his friend takes over, Teresa uses the opportunity to run away. A stranger, Mandak, helps her to get away and trains her to control her gift.

I loved the plot. Writing was good and it was like watching an action movie. Character development was perfect and I loved how each character had depth. I felt the book would have been even better as a trilogy rather than as a standalone. At the some places, the info and incidents mentioned felt incomplete. These were probably edited out to reduce the word count. Nevertheless, it was a good read.

My Rating: 4⭐/5
